Michael Skinner

Community Leader and Mentor

Michael Skinner serves as a Mentor and Community Leader with Castle Hill Counseling & Consulting. Throughout his life, Mike has demonstrated a commitment to service, leadership, and helping others navigate challenges with resilience and confidence. A former United States Marine who served for six years, Mike later spent nearly two decades as a firefighter at Logan Airport. These experiences helped shape his strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and dedication to supporting others during both ordinary and extraordinary moments.

In 2014, Mike transitioned into a successful career in real estate, where he became known for his hands-on approach, strong communication skills, and commitment to helping clients navigate important life decisions. His ability to connect with people from all walks of life has made him a trusted advisor, mentor, and leader within the community.

Mike is passionate about helping individuals discover greater purpose, confidence, and direction in their lives. Most recently, he co-facilitated The MENtality Group alongside Castle Hill Founder Matt Doyle, creating a supportive space where men could openly discuss challenges, relationships, personal growth, and the pursuit of a more meaningful life. Drawing from his experiences in the military, public service, business, and community leadership, Mike brings authenticity, perspective, and encouragement to every interaction.

Outside of his work, Mike enjoys spending time with family and friends, serving his community, staying active, and continuing to support others in reaching their personal and professional goals.

My Approach

I believe that growth happens through connection, accountability, and a willingness to challenge ourselves. My goal is to create a supportive environment where people feel comfortable sharing their experiences, learning from one another, and developing greater confidence in who they are and where they want to go.

Throughout my life, I have learned that many of life's most valuable lessons come from overcoming obstacles, building meaningful relationships, and staying committed to personal growth. Whether working with individuals, groups, or community members, I strive to bring authenticity, encouragement, and practical wisdom to the conversation. I believe everyone has strengths worth building upon and that positive change becomes possible when people feel supported and connected.
